Kurt Müller, Partner, brings 31 years of high-tech management and entrepreneurial experience to the partnership.
Together with his partners Dr. Berthold von Freyberg and Waldemar Jantz, he founded Target Partners in 1999.
Kurt Müller was the founder of Dataware Technologies, Boston, in 1986. Under his leadership, the company increased its sales to 41 million dollars. In 1993, he successfully brought Dataware to NASDAQ and remained Chairman & CEO until 1998. In 1995 he founded the search technology company Northern Light Technology.
From 1984 to 1986, Kurt Müller was the founder of Lotus Development GmbH in Munich. Prior to that, he worked as a strategic consultant for Bain & Company in Boston and Munich for three years. He received his degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, and his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. He also studied law at Harvard Law School.
Kurt Müller is a member of the Supervisory Board of Mercateo AG as well as a member of the Advisory Board of tado ° GmbH, ArangoDB GmbH, Adjust GmbH, NavVis GmbH and Theva Dünnschichttechnik GmbH. He is also Board Observer at Falcon.io. He also oversaw the interests of Target Partners in WLAN AG (sold to Swisscom AG in 2003), NXN Software AG (sold to Avid Technology in 2004), gate5 AG (sold to Nokia in 2006) and ubitexx GmbH (2011) Sold to Blackberry).
From 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the board of the Bundesverband deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften (BVK) in Berlin.
